Build: Howl has a thin body due to being malnourished. It is easy to see some of his bones like ribs, hips and knuckles. Sometimes it makes him seem like he's taller than he actually is despite being rather small. However, he is still young, so perhaps he will grow into those lanky legs.
He has big green eyes, that often seem empty. His stares can be intense, but in truth he's simply lost in thought.
His tail has an oddly fluffy tip despite having barely any fur in the middle. Though it doesn't seem to bother him much. Perhaps he was bitten as a puppy.

Howl becomes invested swiftly. It does not matter what it is, but grabbing his attention is easy. If given a task, he most likely will do his best to give a good result. Although,,, he might not be the most talented. His investment also will apply to relationships. Due to his lack of social skills, he tends to try hard to be on everyone's good side and feels like being on good terms is a must. This makes him seem like a try-hard, since Howl does not really consider being heedful.
Despite his problems, he tends to seek advice and truth behind the mystery. He is still learning, and has a habit of spectating. Although, sometimes he lets imagination run wild. If one is willing to accept him as he is, it becomes rather clear that Howl is a loving wolf. He is gentle and tends to avoid provocation at all costs. Not a mean bone is his body.

With a tendency to be dramatic, the brown wolf sometimes comes off as intense. His stare gives an eerie feeling. His behaviour comes from a lack of socialisation and corrections. Which could be partly blamed on his adoptive-mother, however, she simply did not question what others might think. To her, he was just being silly. Although, she warmed him to keep his ideas close to himself. As it was mentioned, Howl's imagination is rather vivid, where he does not always know whether it is real or not. With a head full of speculations and theories, Howl feels lonely. There is a part of him that wishes to discuss these ideas.

As loving as anyone can be, everyone has moments of weakness. In Howl's case, he can show a fair amount of frustration. Often causing him to sound childish and whiny. This is not caused by aggression, but simple frustration. It is a trait he always struggled with. Sadly, his adoptive mother did not know how to deal with it, as there is not much she could have done. Physical punishment was something she stood against, so all she did was scold him. In return, it caused more whines. The tantrums may vary depending how well he knows said wolf(or animal). The closer he is, the less shy reaction is expressed. From time to time, his words can sound rude, yet that might not be the case. For him, asking ¨why¨ is a reasonable question, despite it seemingly sounding like an argument.
Is the odd behaviour due to his obnoxious attitude? He was under-socialised after all therefore reading the clues is a difficulty for him. Despite his attempts to learn, he still has a long way to go. Since he is aware of his lack of knowledge, it's easy to fool him.

Pre-Group History:
¨Have you been hit on the head¨ is a question the brown wolf encountered more than once. Answer to that is ¨I don't know¨.
There is little to no memory of his childhood. All he knows is, there was a mother and father... They mentioned a brother? The sheet is blank.
How he managed to get separated from them is a tough question. The answer won't come from Howl, as he has no clue. All he knows is that one moment everything was calm, the next he was flying solo. At the time, he was only 3 months old. How he managed to survive is questionable. Although, it was clear he would not be able to go much further if Maroon had not found him. To be fair, it was hard to not find him... The entire forest heard his howls.
He wandered alone for almost a month, perhaps slightly longer. It was hard to tell as Maroon could not get much information out of him. ¨The forest nymph saved me!¨ he told her. At the time he was only 4 months old, and highly malnourished, which made her shrug off the remarks.
Since no one was around, she decided to bring him with her. Originally, she hoped to find her missing mate. But it has already been days since his last sighting... despite it, Maroon continued her search. Howl came along, giving her a hard time.
During the search
It had already been three months since the two found each other. Because of the journey, Howl burned more calories than he ate. Additionally, his now ¨adoptive- mother¨ , hadn't had the slightest clue how to take care of him. The journey was long and dreadful, and the younger wolf often muddled her brain. He'd share some odd ideas, which she didn't pay much attention to. All she told him was to not tell others. While she was busy turning every rock upside down, he lingered like an airhead, imagining how the world works, and the forest nymphs protecting them.
Sadly, the mission had to end short, with no success to be seen.
With the sad ending, she decided to bring him home with her, and officially adopt him.

Found by a middle-aged wolf who is knew of the packs.
She found a 4 month old puppy howling at nothing. She took him in. Called him howl as a nickname because he was whiny.
He turned 8-9 months old and she decided to officially adopt him!
